Dave Sevigny has served as Councilperson for District 10 since January 2023. Dave has jumped in quickly and
and sits on the following boards as appointed by the mayor:
Airport Board
Airport Board Finance, Administration and Operations Committee
City Employees Pension Fund Board
Economic Development Investment Board
Rural Land Management Board
Commission on Veterans' Affairs
Greater Gardenside Association
Dave also sits on the EQPW (Environmental Quality and Public Works) and SSPS (Social Service and Public Safety) committees.
Dave is a proven small business leader with a passion for serving his community.
Dave and his wife Paula have lived in neighborhoods within District 10 for over 35 years. They raised their now adult children in these neighborhoods and have a profound love for this city and this part of Lexington.
Dave's life in Lexington started in 1985 when he joined IBM right out of college with a degree in mechanical engineering. Since then, he's founded and built an award-winning (Commerce Lexington Small Business of the Year) independent IT company and was named the SBA Small Businessperson of the Year for KY. Dave is a graduate of Leadership Lexington and continues to be greatly involved in a myriad of business, non-profit, neighborhood and faith groups in Lexington.
